NSW: Woman threatened with a gun during home invasion

SYDNEY, Aug 12 AAP - A 53-year-old woman was threatened with a gun during a home invasionin Sydney's west today.

A police spokesman said a man armed with a silver coloured pistol entered the homeat about 9.30am, demanding money and the keys to the family car.

He said the woman's 59-year-old husband and 19 and 20-year-old sons were also threatenedduring the incident at their Fairfield home.

The robber then drove off in the victim's white Ford Fairlane sedan with registrationplate BW 0549.

The man was described as in his 30s, 183cm tall, of medium build and was wearing adark jacket, dark pants, a balaclava and sunglasses.

Police said no shots were fired during the incident and no-one was hurt.
